Downtown Wytheville, Inc. and the Joint Industrial Development Authority of Wythe County are proud to announce the second annual Startup Wythe In — Business Idea Competition. Startup Wythe In is designed to encourage and develop an entrepreneurial spirit by mentoring participants through business plan development for innovation business ideas. Startup Wythe In empowers participants to establish new business ventures and create local jobs.

Startup Wythe In is open to business idea from both new and existing businesses interested in locating within the Downtown Wytheville B-2 DT Business Zone. Competitors will submit an initial narrative about their idea. A group will then be selected to continue in the mentorship program and further develop their business plan. After its final presentation, a winner will be selected based on their ability to demonstrate the viability, innovation and impact of their business concept.
