Have you ever wanted to learn how to paint a portrait?
During this camp, students will learn the elements of portraiture…from mixing paint to blending on the canvas to having a deeper understanding of how light and shadow work to create depth. Students will also learn about master artisans such as Rembrandt, Frida Kahlo, Picasso, and Van Gogh and their styles of portrait painting.
By the end of the week, participants will leave with their very own 16 x20 portrait.
Class starts at 9:30 am and ends at 12:30 pm each day of camp.
Students will need to bring a photograph of a person that they want to paint…this could even be a self portrait.
