The Crowe Hollerers is a band of brothers – two of them to be exact – from Atkins, Virginia. The Hollerers have spent a good bit of their young lives trying to convince folks on the streets of Marion and Sparta, North Carolina, that, 1. They’re not homeless and, 2. To stop and give them a listen. With guitars, washboards, spoons, drums and jars of beans, the Crowe Hollerers are pure jug punk – Americana with a healthy helping of country filtered through the Ramones. You’l hear influences that range from Johnny Cash and Lead Belly to the Memphis Jug Band and the White Stripes.
