UPDATE: Due to Hurricane Florence, the Frontier Trail Settler Days scheduled for this weekend in Wytheville, Sept. 15-16, has been CANCELLED.

Parking: Visitor Center at 975 Tazewell Street, Wytheville, VA
Admission: $5 (Children ages 6 & under FREE)
Come see what likfe was like for early settlers and how they survived. period reenactors will be on hand to display frontier skills: blacksmith, hunter/hide trade, SWVA militia, wool spinners, British Regulars, Sutlers
SATURDAY ONLY: Food & drinks available for purchase! Food vendors will include local American Cancer Society Relay for Life teams.
Chris Hull will return to Wytheville’s Heritage Preservation Center (115 West Spiller Street) as “George Wythe” Thursday, September 27, 7 p.m., with Founding Fathers/Founding Documents. Hull is the former “George Wythe” at Colonel Williamsburg. Admission is $8. Event is first in a new series, Celebrate Museum Thursdays with History, Songs and Stories. Reservations are required by calling (276) 223-3330 or email museum@wytheville.org.
