The Willow Brook Jackson/Umberger Homestead friends invite you to celebrate the rich heritage of Wythe County by attending a reception at the Homestead property. During the event, local historian and author Jim Mullins will share a short talk about the history of Southwest Virginia’s frontier days with an emphasis on Fort Chiswell. Tours of the property will be available.
There is no ticket cost to attend this event; however, contributions to the Homestead Endowment are encouraged and appreciated and will support the Willow Brook Jackson/Umberger Homestead Museum property. Gifts to this 501(c)(3) are tax deductible as allowable by IRS guidelines, and your investment will help ensure that the property is maintained for future generations to enjoy.
