UPDATE: Due to Hurricane Florence, the Frontier Trail Settler Days scheduled for this weekend in Wytheville, Sept. 15-16, has been CANCELLED.

Parking: Visitor Center at 975 Tazewell Street, Wytheville, VA
Admission: $5 (Children ages 6 & under FREE)
Come see what likfe was like for early settlers and how they survived. period reenactors will be on hand to display frontier skills: blacksmith, hunter/hide trade, SWVA militia, wool spinners, British Regulars, Sutlers
Chris Hull will return to Wytheville’s Heritage Preservation Center (115 West Spiller Street) as “George Wythe” Thursday, September 27, 7 p.m., with Founding Fathers/Founding Documents. Hull is the former “George Wythe” at Colonel Williamsburg. Admission is $8. Event is first in a new series, Celebrate Museum Thursdays with History, Songs and Stories.
